Animated films often appeal to children, but they are a great way for people of all ages to learn the English language. Animated films are often directed to, or appeal most to children, but easily can be enjoyed by all.
The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (2013)

Dumbo (1941)
A young circus elephant is born with comically large ears and given the cruel nickname Dumbo.
One day at a show, he is taunted by a group of kids, inciting his mother into a rage that gets her locked up. After Dumbo’s ears cause an accident that injures many of the other elephants, he is made to dress like a clown and perform dangerous stunts. Everything changes when Dumbo discovers that his enormous ears actually allow him to fly, and he astounds everyone at the circus with his new talent.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)

How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
The Grinch lives alone in a cave above the village of Whoville. The Grinch is an anti-sociable character with a heart “two sizes too small” who especially hates Christmas. One Christmas Eve, he finally has enough and decides to stop Christmas Day from coming to Whoville at all.
Lambert The Sheepish Lion – Short (1952)
The 8-minute film focuses on Lambert, a lion cub that is mistakenly left with a flock of sheep by a stork.
Lambert lives his life thinking he is a sheep, but is ostracized by his peers for being and acting different until he is forced to defend his adoptive mother from an attack by a hungry wolf. Thereafter, the now-adult Lambert is wholeheartedly accepted by the other sheep as one of the flock.
Ferdinand The Bull – Short (1938)
The children’s book converted to a short movie tells the story of a bull who would rather smell flowers than fight in bullfights. He sits in the middle of the bull ring failing to take heed of any of the provocations of the matador and others to fight.
